With the Philips' cutting-edge MASTER LED MR16s (GU5.3) it is now possible to reduce energy consumption and maintenance costs without compromising on light quality and ambience. This dimmable LED MR16 is able to directly replace a 50W 12v halogen MR16. As well as being ultra-easy to install, the MASTER LED lamps range offers a low cost of ownership.

This innovative lamp emits no heat, UV or infrared in the light beam. It contains no mercury, making it fully compliant with all European environmental legislation – a truly sustainable solution. These lamps ARE compatible with your existing halogen 12v transformers, meaning no additional LED drivers are required, this makes for a very easy upgrade - literally "out with the old and in with the new".
