| GE classic candle light bulb uses an incandescent tungsten filament. These decorative light bulbs are still very popular. Excellent colour rendering and light quality. These candle light bulbs use a fragile filament making them prone to damage or premature failure, they last an average of 1,000 hours.
From one of the leading lighting manufacturers GE. These lamps are available in 25W, 40W and 60W with a clear or opal finish. You can also choose between small bayonet cap, bayonet cap, small edison screw and edison screw bases.

Fluorescent lighting saves you the most money (see below) however, if you do not like fluorescent lighting see our new 28W Energy Saving Halogen Candle (replaces 40W) for a more efficient light bulb that is fully dimmable, with excellent quality light, long life and instant start! Available with bayonet cap (B22) and small screw (E14) bases.
Our most energy efficient candle upgrade is the 7W Megaman Candle (replaces 40W) and 9 Megaman Candle (equivalent to 50W). We also stock the latest in lamp technology - a 7W Dimmable Candle and a 9W Dimmable Candle; although these lamps seem expensive they quickly pay for themselves in energy savings.
Why we should consider alternatives...
Poor energy consumption makes all standard/incandescent light bulbs very expensive to run, so whilst they are cheap to buy initially you pay out a lot more in electricity costs - so there is a much higher "Cost Of Ownership". |
