FireGuard are the latest Fire-Rated, energy-saving IP63 downlighters from JCC. No need for firehoods, these downlights can be safely installed into fire rated ceilings. Durable pressed steel construction and a choice of finishes makes these lamps ideal for shower-rooms and bathrooms in new build and renovation projects!

ALL FireGuard fittings are tested fo 30, 60 and 90 minute ceilings
Level of resistance required depends on the risks involved and the location of adjacent dwellings. For home use this is generally 30-60 minutes, however under certain conditions (such as use in multi-story flats) 90 minutes may be required.

For use with 11W Megaman GU10 - a fast-starting and high-performance lamp that will replace a 50W Halogen GU10. They also promise a super long life at an estimated 15,000 hours! Up to 80% energy savings.
