Fire-Rated Showerlight Downlights - Including 7W Megaman LED GU10

FireGuard are the latest fire-rated, energy-saving downlights from JCC. The showerlight downlighters have an IP65 rating making them moisture proof as well as thorougly fire-resistant.

No need for firehoods, these downlighters can be safely installed into fire-rated ceilings. Durable pressed steel construction and a choice of finishes makes these lamps ideal for new build and renovation projects!

ALL FireGuard fittings are tested for 30, 60 and 90 minute ceilings
Level of resistance required depends on the risks involved and the location of adjacent dwellings. For home use this is generally 30-60 minutes, however under certain conditions (such as use in multi-story flats) 90 minutes may be required.

Includes the latest 7W Megaman LED GU10 - Designed to ensure the thermals of the LED are maintained for trouble free operation and heat sensitive displays. This high-performance Megaman LED lamp will replace a 35W+ Halogen GU10. The cool white version of this lamp is included with the showerlight, it offers an impressive CRI of 92 making it brilliant for use in retail environments, or where colour presentation is of great importance - 35° beam angle.

They also promise a super long life at an estimated 20,000 hours! Up to 80% energy savings.
