Linear Fluorescent Tubes

T8 and T5 fluorescent tubes are used to illuminate most offices and commercial buildings, this is mainly due to their low running costs, high colour rendering and super long-life. Tubes can be bought in a range of colour temperatures, including daylight, and offer even light distribution.

There are two different types of fluorescent tubes, triphosphor and halophosphate. The triphosphor and multi-phosphor tubes last longer and give a much higher quality of light, they also use less mercury than the cheaper, standard, halophosphate tube.
